As today is Day 3 in our Google+ Blog Series, I would like to focus on optimizing your Google Plus profile and why this is important.

If using your profile page for business networking, marketing and connecting with your target audience, you’ll need to learn the various elements for setting up an optimized Google Plus profile. Did you know that Google has a priority to which sections attribute to optimization that effect Google Search? In order to completely understand this valuable piece of information – we need to take a closer look.

I was able to find an article on KiSSmetrics.com (a blog that posts information about Analytics, Marketing and Testing) that takes the guessing out of optimizing Google+ profiles. The article was written by Kristi Hines entitled “The 2013 Google+ Marketing Guide”. I would encourage everyone to read this article as Hines breaks every section down and provides her readers with a clear and precise format that’s easy to follow and easy to apply. I believe this guide explains the importance of optimization and how this leads to having a successful Google+ experience.

For those of you not familiar with Kristi Hines, she is a freelance writer, professional blogger, and social media enthusiast. Her blog Kikolani focuses on blog marketing for personal, professional, and business bloggers. You can follow her on , Twitter, and Facebook.

Tune in tomorrow, we’ll be back with another valuable tip in Day 4 of this email/blog series.
